Every Man’s Sword Shall Be Against His Brother
The further deterioration and collapse of long-held administrative institutions of order designed to check man’s predisposition for sin, evil, injustice, and inhumanity become more evident every day.
Institutions once committed to law, order, and justice now brazenly and openly commit crimes they once acted to stop. Confusing the situation today is that most people are indignantly and inordinately divided along familial, social, and politically ideological lines in which most people only see and think what they want to be true rather than what is true with current affairs.
Truth is predicated through the lens, the bias, or ideology of the observer. Truth is fabricated to fit a chosen narrative rather than what it is. Truth, to most people is merely subjective; it exists in the eyes of the beholder rather than reality. Isaiah 5:20 especially speaks to this phenomenon and condemns this inversion of truth by human judgment. “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
Indicative of even greater depravity is the systemic corruption associated with those who lead these institutions and their relentless pursuit and exertion of power and authority. This corruption thrives with the consent of the people as they both abandon all moral and ethical principles and accountability. Standards of conduct no longer matter as long as the people think their being protected from their fears of the proverbial, “them,” whomever “them” may be that they regard as their avowed enemy at that moment.
The only, and I emphasize the only place where truth resides and is without corruption is the Word of God: The Bible, and God’s Word reveals why the current condition in the world exponentially grows worse with the passage of each day.
To understand, we must know the Lord Jesus Christ: The Word of God (Revelation 19:13) spoke in parables and without a parable did He not speak (Matthew 13:34 & Mark 4:34). Also, being already born of the Spirit of God with the Spirit teaching us by comparing scripture with scripture (I Corinthians 2:13); and thereby, opening our understanding. (Luke 24:45). Without these prerequisites you will continue to grope in spiritual darkness and be unable to discern these times and the doom unfolding before your very eyes.
The only other time in American history where the division amongst the nation could be tenuously compared was when Abraham Lincoln famously predicted that the United States would not remain half free and half slave in 1858 but would end up either all one or the other.
He explicitly referenced God’s Word: The Bible, Mark 3:25 to prove his point. Lincoln said, “A House divided against itself cannot stand.” Lincoln was referring to how the religious leaders at the time of Christ’s ministry on earth accused Him of casting out devils through the power of the devil. Christ challenged this view and said this would mean Satan’s kingdom is divided indicating its end. “And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan? And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. “And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.” Mark 3:23-26
Notice that a “house” and a “kingdom” are synonymous. By right of conquest as God determined in the Garden of Eden with the fall of all humanity in Adam and Eve, Satan became ruler of the world. His kingdom was established with the fall of man. Christ affirms Satan’s kingdom in the synoptic parallel verses found in Matthew 12:24-29. Verse 26 says, “And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?”
Babylon has Fallen
The Bible typifies Babylon as the world. This is first seen in Genesis 11:1-9 with the Tower of Babel. “So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.” Genesis 11:8-9. The same Hebrew word בָּבֶל Bâbel (Strong’s H894) is translated, “Babylon” some 257 times in the Old Testament and means “confusion.” The universal or earthly spiritual nature of Babylon is found in Revelation 17:5, “And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH,” and Revelation 18:3, “For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.” In Revelation 14:8 we read that “all nations” are tied to Babylon. “And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”
Babylon, a picture of the world which contained Satan’s Kingdom, a spiritual kingdom that fell on Judgment Day beginning May 21, 2011, according to the Biblical Timeline of History. Proof for this can be found here: https://time-judgment.com/evidence-for-may-21-2011-spiritual-judgment-day/
Language associated with Judgment Day is found in Isaiah 13:10 “For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.” This language of the sun being darkened is found in eight different verses (Ecclesiastes 12:2, Isaiah 13:10, Joel 3:15, Matthew 24:29, Mark 13:24, Luke 23:45, Revelation 8:12 & 9:2} throughout the Bible and they are directly connected to the spiritual judgment God gave the world on May 21, 2011. The next verse in Isaiah 13:11 we read, “And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.” These verses have incorrectly long been considered by the churches and congregations to be describing literally fulfilled end time events when they are spiritual in nature and proven so by Christ because “without a parable did he not speak.”
With Babylon’s fall came the end of Satan’s Kingdom as Christ’s assured it would in Mark 3:23. “And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.” Satan’s kingdom ended on May 21, 2011, and crumbling institutions, societal breakdowns, unbounded corruption, and unprecedented world-wide division is the demonstrable evidence of the spiritual judgment brought upon the world that day. Babylon, representative of the worldwide kingdom of Satan fell on May 21, 2011, as described in Revelation 18:1-2, “And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.” In Zechariah 14:13 we read of the internal conflict that exist after Judgment Day upon the earth. “And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.” Societal and institutional collapse and chaos are the result of God’s judgment upon the world. The verifiable division that exists within every institution is not random—it is a demonstration of the wrath of God revealed from heaven-(spiritually) manifesting itself as a component of the Day of the Lord: Judgment Day(s).
Every Man’s Sword Shall Be Against His Brother
In Ezekiel 28:20-21 we read, “…and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother.”
“Mountains” in scripture can refer to kingdoms. (Isaiah 13:4 & Ezekiel 37:22) Satan’s kingdom typified by “mountains” in Ezekiel 28:20 was thrown down on Judgment Day which occurred on May 21, 2011. With the throwing down of Satan’s kingdom and God’s word, typified by a “sword,” the “sword of the spirit which is the Word of God:” The Bible (Ephesians 6:17) judging all the kingdoms, which include all of the political and spiritual kingdoms of the earth. The residual effect of God’s judgment upon the world is “man’s sword shall be against his brother,” as a depiction of the internal division now apparent to all as God removes His Hand of restraint upon mankind and humanity turns against itself—politically, socially, morally, familial and personally.
Jeremiah Chapter 25 describes how the churches and congregations throughout the church age typified by Jerusalem and Judah would be judged first during the Great Tribulation as verified in I Peter 4:17 and then immediately after the Great Tribulation the world would be judged. (Matthew 24:29)
Further on in Jeremiah 25 we read repeatedly of God’s judgment upon the nations. Verse 13, “And I will bring upon that land all my words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah hath prophesied against all the nations.” Verse 15, “For thus saith the LORD God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it.” Verse 17, “Then took I the cup at the LORD’S hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me:” and verse 26, “And all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another, and all the kingdoms of the world, which are upon the face of the earth: and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.”
God reinforces His judgment upon the churches and congregations in Jeremiah 25:29 with the “city called by my name,” first, and then second, upon the whole world. “For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the LORD of hosts.
The fear and dread of Almighty God imposing Judgment upon the world is further depicted from Jeremiah 25:30 through verse 33. “Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth. A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.
The Lord’s “roar,” “shout,” and “noise” In Jeremiah 25:30-33 were heard on Judgment Day, May 21, 2011, when His judgment expanded out from the churches and congregations unto the whole world. The “sword,” is the Word of God: The Bible. “And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:” Ephesians 6:17. Notice the “slain of the earth” are not “buried,” in verse 33, meaning they are not dead physically but remain alive to endure the spiritual judgment of God’s wrath as revealed from heaven.(Spiritually)
These words in Jeremiah had their literal fulfillment with Cyrus of Persia’s defeat of Nebuchadrezzar and Babylon in 539 BC that ties directly into Daniel chapter 5, and his interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream the night of his death. Nebuchadrezzar spiritually typified Satan, and Babylon, his earthly kingdom, being destroyed on Judgment Day, May 21, 2011, and Daniel interpreted Nebuchadnezzar’s dream to include his kingdom “would be divided.” Daniel 5:28, as has already occurred with Satan’s Kingdom been divided and has had its end on May 21, 2011.
The division occurring in the world is directly attributable to God’s Wrath upon the unsaved of the world. Romans chapter 1 is indeed today’s newspaper. “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;.” God has given up unsaved man and given mankind over to do what is intrinsic to him which is sin and wickedness during the Day of Judgment. Romans 1:24, “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves.” Verse 26, “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature,” and verse 28, “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.”
Summary
The world is under spiritual judgment which manifests itself in global division, conflict, confusion, and polarization. Scripture consistently portrays judgment as a time when kingdom rises up against kingdom; brother is against brother; a House/Kingdom is divided against itself, and Babylon (The Kingdoms of this world) falls into chaos and confusion. These patterns are evident in today’s modern world as evidence that we exist in the midst of God’s Judgment.
During the Day(s) of Judgment, God has lifted His Hand of restraint on the world, which is evidenced by division, anger, hatred, angst, conspiracy, and corruption. God is allowing mankind’s sinful nature to entirely expose itself leading to irrational and illogical behavior, extreme polarization, social fragmentation, the breakdown of institutions, and intensified conflict at every level whether personally, familial, in communities, statewide, nationally, and globally. The division is spiritual yet manifesting itself in political, cultural, foreign and domestic realms. The division existing within every institution is the exterior sign of spiritual judgment. The real cause of the division and chaos is God’s judgment on the world. The non-elect will remain spiritually dead, without truth, without unity, without the possibility of regeneration by God. No possibility for mercy from God exists. No earthly Kingdom of God is, nor ever, was possible. No “Golden Age” is forth coming for America or any other nation in this world.
Babylon’s historical fall in Scripture is manifest as the spiritual prophetic picture of today. This accounts for the confusion, division, collapse of unity, internal fighting, and the loss of all objective coherence by those most responsible for utilizing it.
Although God’s elect are present during Judgment Day(s) and while the world continues to crack and splinter, the elect of God remain spiritually united and understand the cause of the division. The elect are comforted and strengthened by God’s Word: The Bible, alone. They patiently wait, enduring a trial by “fire” being judgment, which we read in I Peter 4:12, for the completion of Judgment Day(s) and the coming of the new heavens and new earth. The elect are not spared from beholding the turmoil, chaos, and corruption but they are spiritually protected from it.
One design for the division is to demonstrate that salvation has ended and to reveal humanity’s true nature consisting of a truly wicked heart (Jeremiah 17:9). Another is to give glory to His Word: The Bible; its truth, its incorruption and to prepare the world for final destruction and to reveal the separation of the elect from the non-elect spiritually. Division is therefore a sign, a judgment, a confirmation, and a culmination of the Biblical Timeline of History. The world’s division will continue to intensify; no human effort or intervention institutionally or politically can reverse it. Only Christ’s final destruction of this world will end the division with a new, unified creation awaiting the elect.
Amidst Judgment, are you one of God’s elect?
Amidst this time of judgment many people may be God’s elect and not even know it. This is because nothing can be done nor ever could be done, ever, for a person to become saved, that is be given God’s mercy for their sin and thereby, born again, spiritually.
Three prerequisites had to occur to become one of God’s elect. First, Christ had to pay for your sins before the foundation of the world. (Revelation 13:8 & Ephesians 1:4,5) Second, by hearing (spiritually enabled by the Holy Spirit to hear) the Word of God and thirdly, by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost in giving you a new soul, being born again. (Romans 10:17 & Titus 3:5 & John 3:3)
All of these actions are taken exclusively by God without any assistance whatsoever on our part and were all complete on May 21, 2011, when the Day of Salvation ended. Are you one of God’s elect? Continue to plead with God that having already had mercy from before the foundation of the world, having heard your Word, unto the washing of regeneration being given a new soul and rebirth from spiritual death, may I, O heavenly Father, be one of your elect?
